Fur involves torture and murder

Would we wear our own dogs fur?
would we wear our cats?
a question not to difficult to answer
clothes and hats
wouldn’t we be reminded
that we killed our pet so we
could walk about with it stitched
onto our clothing, it beats me
how short some peoples memories are
I mean to contemplate
but the industry is murdering
souls at such a rate
every conceivable animal
clad in natural fur
given half the chance
of course what does occur
they are trapped somewhere
their limbs are crushed
or have pokers up their arse
electrocuted by some lout
who could let that pass
or cats and dogs yes people pets
stolen off the street
and skinned alive on rusty hooks
rainbow bridge they greet
in abject awful agony
tears like rivers flow
these pretty little cats
become skin and bone
each blow
as their sweet skin
is torn off, creates
horrific pain
but those of you who wear
new fur
its very very plain
you do not even think about
the terror in those skins
the karma and the harmer
and the violence and the sins
the starlets and the film stars
and the pop singers now they
apparently all wear it
and go off on their way
some have, special clothes made
from different species, they
are even sadder really
making so many pay
I have no time for these folk
and will give them no support
I will not buy their albums
I will wash them from my thought
clearly they are in themselves
unable to now see
and whatever I say
and will carry on in their own sweet way
and will not bother me
designers
fashion houses, departmental stores
they all
buy clothing in from China
and clearly now they all
include this horrid fur
on cuffs and collars
its dead skin
something we should all
say no to
then they wouldn’t bring it in
and that’s the way to do it
keep ethics to the fore
make all these buyers
responsible
and hopefully now more
