Animal Farm

To be
Or not to be

A horse
A force
We see

With
A friend on the fifth
Of November
Tragically

The human race
Is a disgrace
Night time fear and rage
Clearly off the page
Explosions somehow build
Flashes all around the field

Crescendo’s stoked with fire
Such agony is dire
Fireworks frighten so
To hell in fact we go

Children encouraged to
Light blue paper
As some do
Hear the fizzle followed by
An awful bang
My question why
Golden rain
It feels insane
Silver thrust
Oh the disgust

Fear and fright
On the dark night
Shivering quivering
Blithering blight
guy is burning
It’s concerning
His face has turned white

Shiver my liver
Riven broken
Flash bombs exploding
The foreboding
Death defying
Our hearts are crying
Fireworks fear
It all feels clear

Fireworks night
Just isn’t right
