Poor sheep

Farmers need to be observant
Need to care and need to be
Aware of how their sheep are coping
Never neglected which seems to me
Happened here
So many injured emaciated too it seems
Living with dying and dead sheep sadly
One of the nastiest saddest dreams

No real record poor welfare
Sheep are amazingly sensitive creatures
Record keeping being aware
Essential attributes
So it goes
Trading standards say
One was put down and clearly suffering
Neglecting to show care has to be
Offensive to all of us
It was his job to consider them
And provide adequately

Suffering, for all animals suffer
Neglect just left to carry on
Sick and ill
and seeing friends dying
Imagine their thoughts
Even until

They were inspected
grief, they were feeling it
Out in the fields friends dying, we
Can only imagine the ugly surroundings
And the farmer neglecting even to see

Inspectorate shocked
Charges are coming
Hearts and minds broken
A farmer of note

Basically ignorant
Nonchalantly ignoring
It goes against every thought
One ever considers
