Bruin and Brock
A wild soul indeed
In the forest they build
Great families so pay heed
To their homes in our country
And what though don’t do
Pass TB to cattle
The unnatural few
Cows milked like crazy
Fed on real shit
Glyphosate riddled
Their great light unlit
Suffering hardship
From farmers who will
Not love them ever
And so often kill
The cows in a weakness
For leather or meat
Raping their bodies
They do unseat
They kidnap their babies
Tug at their nerves
Torture and upset
Their spiritual curves
They really are weak
No wild food to consume
No love in their life
Too soon to the tomb
Throats slit and bodies
Broken as hell
Kept in a dank barn
With a peculiar smell
But the badger is labelled
A villain we know
Now we are shooting them
Before they can grow
Causing them stress
Their life one big threat
And sadness and grief
Envelops the sett.
