of pet owners is to understand
the viability
of chaining a pet
dog outside
within a frosty clime
and expect that to be sensible
its a vile and senseless crime
its shows the heart is as cold
as ice
for to do this is a sin
its a an awful feeling
when your cold
and chained up too
begin
to realise what must go
through a pet dog’s mind
he knows
the warmth inside
where you reside
surely, it follows
he is freezing
he is sick with
your rigidity
and really all this world
who hears this story
sides with me
you are to fool
who should be chained
up to share his pain
I am sure an hour
out in the frost
and you would not do that again

just what that poor sad dog
is going through
