Cobalt

Cobalt from the Congo
From sweat and blood they come
Children as young as seven involved
Driving E V’s are we dumb
To the Slavery of infants
The ugliness and pain
The DRC sees utter filth
Which causes such a stain
Upon the so called environment
Ten to twenty per cent
Of Cobalt in these batteries
And not from Heaven sent.
eV’s are so heavy
20000 miles will see two tyres
At least
They play havoc with road surfaces
Each car is a beast
Servicing is awful
Fire risk on the court
Green they are not
That’s utter rot
Despite what we’ve been taught.
Bolivia Chile and Argentina
Mine Lithium so far
And rare earths have a presence
