Living in my cave alone
and wondering
creation grabs
me, with its timeless hand
transports me, me a simple man
from what is early time
into a realm
I dare not understand
most are downing raptor’s
and eating them
and, I spend my days
scrawling on the rocks
and now I have this geode
all the colours of the rainbow
like a pterodactyl’s wings
it sort of rocks!
it was lying on the earth
and I just tripped over it
picked it up
a kaleidoscope of light
an iridescence, a spectral
emanation,
a manifestation
that glorified my sight
somehow, I could grasp
a kind of axiom and see
into the future and beyond
I stared at it, for me
my eyes transfixed
upon it
really all I saw
a new dimension
out beyond the clouds
I could not ignore
from my desert cave
or where ever
the suns rays
the moon’s gaze
made me feel
a gleam
a beam
did seem
now so remarkable
a cave man was experiencing
the real
moment when his true
perception grew in time
and there a vision
sat in her boudoir
staring at a mirror
applying her eye liner
through vast aeons
clearly, so so far
a pale face
pretty nails
and hair extensions
red and lilac and
some strands of gold
shimmering like the
patterns on the water
when the lemons are infused
and kind of hold
a majesty of colour
on the surface
a skin of oil
transforms and bends the eye
and there she sat
applying warm mascara
and putting on her leggings
oh God why!
clearly I could not so
come to terms with what I saw
an entity, a vision
a wondrous form
unsure
a rocket man
now able to fly into the sky
instead of grubbing in the sand
and actually wondering why
her leggings were a shimmer
were they protection for
solar penetration
or possibly much more
whatever, I was drawn
to her
she lit up
all I saw
transporting me
in ecstasy
like some huge
advanced claw
dragging me through
aeons of time
which I allowed
in her arms
I was passive
just simply over powered
by her wisdom and her beauty
it took my breath away
but at no time did I fret, at all
just beside her I did lay
