Nobody wants her anymore

in a cage….. she looks forlorn
in one far corner
a vague expression
pitiful infact
clearly beaten
and ill treated
lacerations on her nose
and in a woeful state
How to react
why she’s fretting
clearly she’s forgotten
or thinks she is
it could be that a child
is also pining
for what she feels
is her poor lost hound
who when she got home
late from school
was simply not around
and thats because her dad
decided her dog had got to go
they couldn’t afford the meat she ate
and no one wanted to go
and take her out
or clean her poo
or wash her dishes, so
She now sits in this cage alone
Hopeful that they might show.(A typical scenario of unwanted pets
who for whatever reason become too much for the owners)
