Canned Hunting

I don’t believe that anyone
however vile could say
Canned Hunting is a sport
and that, it is here to stay
To me its not a sickness
its a mind depraved that feels
that killing hand reared
animals is fine,
it just reveals
A society, that’s off the rails
and a legislature inept
corruption put them
where they are
vindictive
really swept
merciless and spiteful
how they think is wrong
devoid of appreciativeness
we’re not singing the same song
not sharing the same vision
that should and could be there
of the wildness of the savage beast
they seem so unaware.

Instead they fence off areas
and breed souls then they free
let them roam about the place
really that’s the key
molly coddled all their lives
with no wild tendencies
they don’t possess the
where for all
their instinctive possibilities
their beholden to the humane man
whose fed them every day
whose seen they have a water source
and watched them as they play
their guards are down
and the hunter types
they realise this too
so its easy peasey hunting
that these canned hunters do

it really is despicable
that men can sell their soul
provide the trucks and victims
and actually console
the weak and troubled tourists
with enough money to buy
a victim,a dear innocent
whose guaranteed to die
money back deals fill the net
there every where today
our exotic friends may have had it
for with their lives they pay.

And of course it isn’t hunting
in the true sense not at all
they are murdered by rich tourists
who sort of overrule
reprehensible behaviour
inexcusable for me
to contemplate such evil
such immorality
In America some 20 States
have banned this
you see there are some
sane souls even there
but States like Texas
apparently where throwbacks
to the wild west days
think nothing of supporting
this despair.

humility there’s not a lot of that
around
the trophy hunting people
have this urge
to slaughter a wild creature
and stuff part of its body
in my opinion they are
on the verge
of slipping into a
truculent mentality
of gesturing disquiet
and savagery
its so unfair to do this
to an innocent
and karma its a power force
actually

and there are angels about
who share their agony
humanity must doubt
the true extent and see
why so many want to slaughter
exotic species they
think its inappropriate
to carry on this way

quietly they petition
social media has strength
and many now are fighting
they will go to any length
the legislators have to listen
the power of many can
bring about great changes
may be more states will ban

what is now truly menacing
regression of the heart
of complete degeneration
it seems that it does start
and the sort of people
now involved with canned hunting
seemingly
are afflicted to the point
that they themselves can’t see

malefic they,and loathsome
inadequate perhaps
this then is their sickness
their final relapse
its truly catastrophic as they
now realize
it cannot be continued
there were too many lies
there has to be more empathy
more kindness,to those who
apparently were voiceless
but whose power’s now coming through
