but when the truth

it can so startle
the raspberry
yoghurt, or jelly or
ice cream mob
who find it isn’t
raspberries
necessarily
and what they have
been shoving in their gob
strawberries too
and supposedly vanilla
you might quiver
when I tell you
what the flavour is
its castor scent
from the anal glands of
Beavers
clearly manufacturers are
bent

on misleading, the public
and as vegans we must know
what flavours can be called
natural, for it can be a blow
so its near the poor
old Beavers arse

I am going to
pass
again its corporate nonsense
chemists muck
about
and get the taste
of raspberries and strawberries
and vanilla
and how would anybody know
