16/10 japanese Embassy

A cloudy day in London
Piccadilly in our sights
101 to 104 ric o barry he invites
All the people now who care
To just come along and just be there
Holding a red rose in our hand
Helping us all to understand

japan removed its ball of blood
Removed its tired old flag
Wanted to disassociate
Itself from taiji’s tag
The trees in hyde park’s golden leaves
Heralding autumn which achieves
So much for all us for we
Remember our dear friends in the sea

The bottlenose the risso who
Have all been slaughtered as they do
Torn to ribbons for pet food
And fertiliser its so crude
These are mammals sharing air
They love they grieve and of course they care
For their sweet families by their side
And for humans too lost in the tide

A sea of grey swept overhead
The embassy where our eyes sped
Business as usual but not out here
Whistle horns and love and cheer
We chanted loudly one by one
Really till the day was done

Roses for each dolphin who
Died already as they do
The fishermen whose brutal way
Is to create chaos come what may
Then pith their spinal cord until
They share with agony then spill
Their precious blood into the sea
So the cove is red inexplicably

Each day that happens we all know
And we suffer yes we all suffer so
We can feel our own hearts beating fast
We feel alone and we aghast
Have their agony on our mind
And its very hard to then unwind
All of us our sleep is poor
We hear the waves upon the shore
We suffer we so suffer so
For we hope the cove is blue you know

Klaxons horns and chanting we
Made our noise and where we be
Stoked up the energy and sent it forth
Into the sky from east to north to west to south
Just every where
To cast away all the despair
Our dolphin brethren are our friends
And each one of us quietly sends
Individual love on high
Hopeful no more souls will die

Sadly claudia and i couldn’t be there but i soaked up enough of the atmosphere from the day on social media to be able to at least express a poem to you all
