and Dangerous Dogs
has clearly caused some heart break
tragically

non aggressive animals routinely
murdered by the authorities
it seems
because they sadly fall into
a category
and before you can say
Lassie
its all screams
really it is so hard
just to contemplate
owners are the culprits after all
any dog is dangerous
if its left to its devices
if its leashed
and with the owner
as a rule
any dog is fine
forget enforcement
licensing maybe
that would at least
focus the mind I reckon
but going after breeds
it seems to me

if owners are
irresponsible
clearly that’s a problem
its not the dog
its the owner
and the owner then can be
fined and taught to be
responsible or the dog
will be taken
and adopted never slaughtered
really that’s the key

all dogs bite and owners
must be aware of that
to keep them leashed
and muzzled when their out
misreporting is another problem
every dog’s a pit bull
that’s the shout
The Pit Bull
and the Tosa
The Doge
and the Fila
are the breeds
that apparently can be
dangerous and they’re the
breeds at present on the Bsl
licence them by all means
but check the owners who
should be licensed owners
responsible and true

Lennox was no dangerous dog
he died alas for he
was, very unfortunate
part of a category
so many different crosses
and only very few
are dangerous, if you ask me
its the owners really who
must be held responsible
licensed and aware
that if their dog breaks any laws
Its their, duty of care
that clearly will be threatened
they may go to jail
the dog will be adopted
and their licenses
will fail
