The role of women in this world
Is coming under fire
Refugees especially
Their positioning is dire
And apparently indifferences
And nonchalance abroad
A patriarchal strategy
That no one can afford
I fail to see its relevance
i cannot bear to see
Women and such disrespect
And, despondency
Its almost as if hopelessness
Is a means to despair
And there is a strange antipathy
Thats growing just out there
These women on Nauru
Held in disesteem
A number of them raped and beaten
Degraded it would seem
How terribly unheroic
The rabble seem to be
A vulgar herd of ruffians
As there could ever be
Their ingloriousness an insult
To women as a whole
As shabby and as squalid
And a true threat to the soul
Its again about true arrogance
The brazenness of man
There is nothing kind about his order
And I am not a fan
His swagger and bravado
It does nothing for me
Expecting such submissiveness
Or else has tragically
Raised a kind of loathing
A rancorous display
Making women victims
Its repellent I must say
These women raped and dying
Airlifted to Brisbane
The malevolence and virulence
Comes out of the insane
Its becomes a malignancy
So venomous and sour
We now hear of Atrocities
Happening by the hour
Savagery and sadism
Working in cohorts
Misogynists apparently
With all their fucking warts
We must create some gratitude
Some thankfulness for they
Are miraculous and wonderful
In every single way
Women are the carers
Women show us light
Women have the forgiveness
The forbearance and the might
They may seem the weaker earthling
In their power and strength but they
Have an incorruptibility
And constant too I’d say
A state of grace
A moral strength
And walk humbly on this earth
A purity and morality
Of so much greater worth
