United colours of Bennetton and Angora

The united colours of Benetton
And the scourge of Angora which
Drifts across the psyche and of course
Can pitch
A struggle for survival
An agony of thought
As Rabbits sweet and innocently
Are In the madness caught

Their graceful warmth provider
The sanctity of soul
The purest fur in all the land
Indeed the created role
Devised by any powerful act
Of nature to allow
A Rabbit in its environment
To be comfortable and to wow
and stores soon find
It’s spirit with a gentleness
And an innocence and be
Allowed this coat of wonderment
For all eternity

Till man unkind discovers
There wherefore all to make
Alarming moves to torture
And otherwise just take
By piece work out in China
Strip and pull away
The enormity of torture
In a vile and spiteful way

And it’s not to kill the animals
But to continue to enslave
And violate their purity
A factor now so grave
Their screams unlock the passion
Their rapes excite our tears
we know the dark and frightful
Methods heighten all our fears

The rabbits shocked confused destroyed
In spirit are returned
To cages to recover
Till again they are stripped and burned
ripped of all their body fur
Torn out at the roots
It happens till their hearts give out
For the profit clearly suits

And Benetton United colours
Underrated the need
To so protect the innocent
The voiceless and indeed
Our very own true selves
Who suffer as they do
When profit is the driving force
The margin lets Them screw

the animals
The workforce
Each customer who buys
Who is left completely
Ignorant of the rabbits soulful eyes
Of the agony and terror of the really devious way
Of profit before love and care
And an ethical display

The girls and boys went forth
Set up their stall and played
The crowds built up true empathy
Very few their strayed
To pass us by, the police the council
They did come to be
Hopeful we would go away
They didn’t
Want to see
Or hear our voices it was all too much
For them but we
Are the protestors for the innocent
For the voiceless whose symphony

Moves us to cry out to those
Lost inside their soul
Who take advantage of the weak
To score their financial goal
