One direction is this the way to go

They are clearly going in the wrong direction
having heart is truthfully not to be
Their way to express to those
Who care and love all animals
That putting them in chains
Is how they see

Wild souls chimpanzees and lions are worthy
Of more than selling music to those who
Were put together by the
Simon Cowell brigade
And think that they can exploit
And take their crew
Out of the reality of caring
Into a world where animals are seen
As creatures to be exploited by the media
Reality for me says that’s obscene

For many years we saw the slaves chained
Miserably
In some parts of the world it happens still
To take the king
The jungle’s feline warrior
And try in fact to some how kind of bring
Them to their knees
Along with apes and others
To me it comes as
Actually no surprise
To animal lovers everywhere we see it
That first direction
Now herald their own demise

For arrogance is apparently
The where for all
It’s what some do
Who fail to stop and think
Animals are their to be exploited
Cheap labour that provides

With something natural
Exacting from them spirit
Changing their behaviour

This direction I believe is
A disaffection and in reality
