Cook in South Australia

Its a place in South Australia
named after Joseph Cook
The 6th PM of Australia
I read that in some book
Its on the longest straightest
piece of railway in the world
From Ooldes to Loonguna
and I was there
4 people actually live there
its a ghost town if you will
Dependant on the railway
The Indian Pacific, still
Stops there in the Nullarbor
It was hot
and was deserted
bar for the famous 4.
Trees don’t want to grow there
Which is sad I have to say
But it was an experience
to see the place that day
