The Killer Whale or Orca

has become the new cash cow

its big and its reputation

tell the public how

they can be used for entertainment

purposes and they

are taken from the wild and put

in a concrete tank  and made to pay

back the host for giving them

the new home by the sea

here in Argentina

where the orca shouldn’t be

clearly its a wild soul

16 years of age

It needs the ocean current

its rage

is evident inside of it

frustration clearly we

can only now imagine

its need to just be free

it shares the pond with dolphins

its has to perform tricks

this is a tragic story

Kshamenk’s been knocked for six

a lost soul in a tank of soup

no life to speak of there

just a prison cell that has to smell

of more and more despair
