Fortnum and Masons Piccadilly

I have stood outside that shop
and spoke to people passing by
about the evil Foie Gras
that some do want to try
its cruelty personified
inducing in birds pain
disease and a fatty liver
in fact its all in vain

for nobody is listening
the shop just carries on
its all about the money
the profit placed upon
the counter as for cruelty
consumers dont care a damn
they will induce swollen livers
and in their own mouths cram

This vile obnoxious pate
I can hope they choke
but in reality they think
that actually I am the joke
its egregious torture
it ulcerates their throat
it makes their livers swell 10 times
this is pain of note

many cannot breathe at all
their ribs and livers
are
close to
and they are kept upon their feet
oh how we scar

you who eat this dreadful food
clearly inadequacy for the crude
manner in which “gavage” is used
these birds are being so abused
they bleed hard inside their throat
they cry they are in agony
Foie gras is sinful and in hell
those scoffers of it
and those who sell
will be consigned for i am sure
and that this is purely blood and gore

Fortnum and Mason couldn’t care less
reputed to be one of the best
shops around in London Town
say that quickly with a frown
clearly its a snooty place
where few ethical people would show their face
its going down hill at quite a pace
for selling foie gras is a disgrace

it can ‘t be made here
but it can be sold
that tells you lots
however old
you are you have to realise
that really it is no surprise

its evil nasty and very cruel
and to eat the stuff
just does appal
any thinking caring soul
would shun this pate
out of control
Peta has proved how bad
it is
its banned just everwhere
Prince Charles and he’s the future
king maybe he can ssomehow bring
some semblance of understanding
and get this stuff banned
and ban it ban it forever
so that people understand
