Wolves and those who would………….

Desolation
outweighs any sympathy
out there in the wild west
there is no symmetry
a wolf has just been
thrust upon a post
and left to die
a sacrificial statement
an apocalyptic cry
that echoes through the heavens
for in this what we see
is a hatred pure and simple
that really shouldn’t be
it doesn’t ask us questions
and there are no answers there
its purely and simply hatred
and leads only to despair

Ignorance
its rife, and savages the breast
within the heart is beating
with nothing to invest
except the cruellest savagery
that has no place to be
anywhere around the wolves
whose freedom we should see

impaling one into a post
and then running away
is tantamount to cowardly
making a poor soul pay
for what you believe is happening
that’s not happening at all
you are so far down the wrong road
you can’t hear us when we call

repressed and far too angry
for your own good let me say
you abrogate all common sense
and try to make them pay
where is your morality
why do you let them steal
your good sense away from you
because that now is real

you killed that young predator
not the corporate goon
you have done their dirty work
waved the sad balloon
and half the world has seen it
and we can reason why
one brain dead non thinker
can make so many cry
