Water waste(brought about by our innate fear of Government)

If we stopped sometimes to
contemplate our navels
just imagining the burdening we cause
by buying bottled water
in all those plastic bottles
the oil alone a year
if we just pause
to think amounts to
17 million barrels
and that is for the United States alone
17 million barrels of oil is used to make
containers for the water
its enough to make us flake
out and think of going
back to drinking from the tap
despite what Government adds to it
I know that awful crap
the rat poison
the lithium
and God knows what else there
but reading what we are doing
to our planet
I despair
