Catch a Dolphin
and it becomes
Your’s
how can that be?
only human beings
have this arrogance
they can’t see

anything but dollar bills
and the Dolphins
getting screwed
stressed out of their
great big minds
murdered in cold blood
hoodwinked by the Japanese
and soon to feel the flood

of family members
dying beside them in the sea
this is what the Japanese
call culture
tragically

reminding us that we kill
cows, pigs sheep horses too
we kill fish and lobsters
rabbits its not new
we even torture animals
in laboratories so that we
can use some brand of toothpaste
and do that more safely

don’t tell us what we do is wrong
that’s their eternal cry
at least we show you how we do it
how the creatures die
you lot go to slaughterhouses
and do it behind closed doors
don’t put us down as evil
we don’t break any laws

I suppose they have a point here
but Dolphins are very bright
Dolphins are very friendly
and are wild and so we’re right
the Japanese must respect life
which clearly they do not do
and these Dolphins being slaughtered
at the cove
is wrong, my view
that captive Dolphins and Orca’s
is also wrong as well
these are wild souls swimming miles
committed to our Hell
committed to a concrete tank
its evil to be sure
its what the Sea world corporation
chooses to ignore
