We so love our mothers

Imagine a piglet
Born of its mother
In a farrowing crate
Close to its brother
Stuck in the bars
Frighteningly
My head squashed and hurting
Why must it be
Do you want my mothers dead flesh
Is that true
She is so wonderful
It’s hullabaloo
We spin in our minds
We tearfully feel
Broken and bruised
And my dear Mothers real

Exhausted and broken
Suffering pain
We love her to bits
