Icelandic a fin Whales

captain A sailor
His riches are many
This whale hunting misery
Sailing the seas
Shooting harpoons Into beautiful creatures
With great hearts and souls
He is their disease
He murders these fine beasts
Tortured and frightens them
Weighing great tonnage Drags them along
It may take hours For death to accomplish
His weird fascination
He thinks he has powers
Over them such is his sickness
Destroying beautiful creatures Who traverse the deep
And what does he do with such splendid creations
Cuts them to pieces This vilest of creep
Flogs them to Japan Where parts are then eaten
sold as fish fillets
Not whale meat for he Knows
that sensitive workers In several ports
Would boycott the cargo Protected species There are lots of people Who hold lovely thoughts
For whales being slaughtered All over the oceans Fin whales these baleen whales Giants among
Creature below the waves Breaching and showing Their glorious body mass Yes the unsung
