5-7 seconds for sheep apparently
22-40 seconds for cattle
Who desperately
Sheep 10 weeks to six months
Millions ever hear
And growing by the moment
Which for the vegan
Many a tear
Are experienced for certain
It is a sorry state
It is cruel to allow this
And it’s growing at a rate

Halal yes and kosher or Shechits
Being allowed today
A religious practice
That does create dismay
Rather than increase
This
we ought to make them see
If it’s really more compassionate
To stun them then it should be.
