Pesticides

Cides  equals death

to the plants and  to all

That  come  into  contact

The thumb and the rule

its easy to spray

no need to bend the back

kill off the insects

that otherwise pack

Poor Emmy

an eleven year

followed the trend

her mother a florist

the pesticides friend

no realisation

that build up  can be

a vile concentration

so regrettably

it happened in France

as a florist the plants

smothered in toxins

we don’t have much chance

this poor little mite

she so suffered she

caught Leukaemia  sadly

and died painfully

organic foods a protection

its true

they are more expensive

But again what we do

is think for the future

and realise we

must be more observant

be selective  and true

dealing in flowers

its a bitter pill

they abuse us with pesticides

and of course , they kill
i have tried to eat organically

and sell them for I

know in mu heart that they kill

Growers die

often growers children

the elderly too

in countries far off

it May happen to you

it happened to me

chromosomes  they

affected me too

And will to my dying day

affect me too
