Gallop

Don’t force a horse to gallop

when a horse don’t want to run
Don’t threaten him with whips and heels

or let him see your gun

farting on his shoulders

will irk him maybe so

don’t get your horse to gallop

when he’d rather just walk slow

racing isn’t bracing

glyphosate you see

weakens those tired tendons

and breaks him genuinely

when he feels off coloured

thats when you exclaim

you want your horse to gallop

Yes you really are insane

racing is a vile cruel way

of forcing wildness to

make your charges feel frustrated

that is what you do

Tendons tight and weak alas

Horses they  feel  they

never want to gallop

in the cold light of the day
