Canada and it’s seals

Two great big eyes
that’s what we see
A heart
A soul
Could be me
The next time around
Well, who can say
A Seal needs help
From us today

Some men can bludgeon
And watch them bleed the seal
Because
It’s need to feed
On cod, so what
We have to share
For selfishness
Gets us no where

I beg you
Help the little soul
Their need is great
Their problems real

Compassion is a strength you know
Please help them
Stop each cowardly blow
That knocks them side ways
And they die
I wonder, Yes
I wonder why
God made the seals
And watches ore
The massacre
And asks what for
