Bibury duck race

Bibury Cricket Club
Faces a battle
Staying alive
And carrying on
The duck race we hold
On the Coln every year
3000 rubber ducks
They just appear
And sail ever forwards
A race of sorts
Jack Merrylees told us
It’s profound in his thoughts
The money that’s raised
Helps the club so we see
The many who come to watch
Also agree
