Ants in my pants

In the dark of my belly
I wouldn’t expect
Bats to be nestled
Having to detect
The stress and frustration
That I now feel
In a punitive world
Where the arrogant reel
In, our true ethic
I am sure ants might be
Energised hordes
Better suited to me
