Adversity all round

A converted barge
One wonders
What utopian spirit lies
What an assembly of structures
Does this modular realise

Stakeholders, every which way
Dramatic Personae
People ware and management
Underneath the sky

A ménage of ministry experts
Hold the purse strings tight
500 homes for new comers
That nobody did invite

Raw recruits and failures
Sleight of hand and more
Artful, wily intriguing smiley
Tacticians at the door

The difficulty of knowing
Who most of them are
A tough order
Assignments predicaments galore
Hostility and aggro
Litigiousness
Rivalry
Argybargy
War of words
Conflicting
Terminology

No one knows
Quite who they are
An invasion of sorts
One feels all the bureaucracy
And government
All with the best ideals
Adverse circumstances
Pressure all the way
The local people
Up in arms
I’ll fated one might say

There be a quiet despondency
A suffering of sorts
A scourge a visitation
A recession in one’s thoughts.
