Batty

i was blind as a bat

in swaddling

no electric light

where i came from

darkness

i felt wrinkledflexible and coming out

will i walk or fly

will I roar or whisper

wings or arms

pray tell

From on high

a bat me thinks

i am upside  down

oh hell

and forty five feet off the ground
