Wild birds and their keepers

Human un kind
They are out there
Everywhere we go
Wildness is to slavery
And those now in the know
Believe themselves to be free
In their semi detached box
With their standard car
And the in built bar
And of course their fancy socks

The types who buy exotic birds
Teaching them expletives
And other fancy words
Most unkind to wildness
Keeping them in cages
Souls with wings
Designed to fly
But kept in them for ages

Sky born is just freedom
Unlike the humans who
Are slaves to Maritime Law
They are and so very few
Realise they are prisoners
Of the Vatican
The illuminati people
Who drive their Davos van

Smuggling the wild ones
In bottles and in jars
Many thousands perish
And many more see stars
The element of cruelty
The frustration of it all
Restrains in utter boredom
Whilst up there on the wall

Coercion and repression
The inhibitions granted
Confined detained and quarantined
Its just like being planted
An exclusion zone and curfew
Every single day
You have the wilds of freedom
Buy you cannot fly away

Immunity and civil rights
The order of each day
Free born and enfranchised
One flap and you are away
To live with utter freedom
For there is no better way

Henpecked and downtrodden
Held captive what to do
Locked down as a prisoner
You must agree its true
born to fly the tree tops high
With a warden on your case
Having to wear a muzzle
Covering your face

A jail house through the prison bars
Light filters you can see
But the bars are close together
King of captivity
Human slaves are everywhere
And seeing birds born free
Pisses them off like nothing else
Which is why they want the key

And to keep wild birds in cages
Prohibit them from leaving
Where everything is forbidden
Even fucking breathing
Contagions they are everywhere
The fearful reckon so
And become like the wild birds themselves
With now no where to go.
