Little grey and little white

A 6000 mile trip
From China to iceland
Two Famous Beluga’s
Had been there nine years
Languishing sadly
In Cheng Feng Ocean World
Shanghai Adopted them
And many tears
Had washed from these babies
Their Innocence obvious
Wild souls imprisoned
In a watery zoo
The Sea Life Trust
Saw them
Wanted to free them
Arranged it and did so
All this is true

From hot steamy Shanghai
To the Westman Islands
That is off Iceland
Klettsvik Sanctuary
Wildness apparent
A bay of such plenty
Back to the wild
And their true
place to be

Mountains and valleys
And rocks jutting skywards
Waves at the edge
And white dancing foals
Sea birds and Urchins
And seaweed to dance with
Diving and rubbing theit heads
Playing roles

Together the sand on the bottom
And fishes
both of them catching
Their own meals today
what of the winter the ice and the snow
Iceland is colder than Shanghai
All know

Clearly the pair embracing the picture
Seeing good grace and knowing that they
The lifeforces down here
The cold a gratuity
Yes they will manage
Already thats clear
Holed Up in that tank
Was rank and was lifeless
Artificiality, dead everywhere
Fed on frozen sprats
Bringing cold to their tummies
Now living life forms
At Last they can share
