Part of the reason why habitat loss is so wrong

Habitat loss has become very serious
Wild souls are finding that their
Needs are conflicting with settlements
And of course really how is that fair
It happens in England in forested places
Where badgers and foxes and deer
Are up against people who want to build houses
And then realise to live near
Where wild souls live and hunt regularly
Cause some concern and we see
The wild ones all driven out
Injured and shot
Which honestly just shouldn’t be

But these are the humans that’s how they work
Animals should live in zoo’s
Not hunt in their gardens and eat all their flowers
Suddenly they are bad news
So a leopard in India ranging
Comes into a village close by
Not long ago it was wild habitat
But now if it does It Might die

Be shot by the villagers collectively
Seeing their cattle or pets
Stolen by wild souls just like this Leopard
And they are then seeing their debts
Increasing as they build higher fences
And still the wild souls come on by
Elephants searching for water
And so yet again they will die

It’s everywhere a battle royal for the land
Humans encroaching for they
Just love the freedom of countryside living
Their lands getting larger each day
But stolen in reality from The wild souls
Who are hunted run off trapped and killed
Problems with pet cats and dogs up against
The wild ones whose bloods being spilled

A Leopard is killed searching out food
And he
Visits a village that’s what we see
In Kerala this week Elephants die
And wild Boars all the time
So I say and I sigh
Knowing all over this world
At his time
Conflict is growing
And none can rely

On anything happening sooner
As we
Move closer and closer

To adversity
