RUSSIAN TRAVELLING CIRCUS

Wild animals in circus
Should have been banned by now
The Lynx is a shy and solitary soul
A circus therefore how
Can any so called trainer
Ever be that thick
Ever be that insensitive
And miss every trick

To imagine you can train a Lynx
To perform such mundane tricks
It just goes without saying
These trainers they are pricks
They need to receive injuries
Scratched to kingdom come
It’s only a shame the trainer
Lived to tell the tale,

for some

Would say they hate the pageantry
The bright lights and the noise
Expecting a lynx to balance on a high stool
They have poise
But will not do such stupid things
and all I wish is they
Would eat the bloody trainers
And make it quick

I watched the cat fall off the stool
Whilst hanging on a lead
Being pulled about the floor
The trainer did succeed
In torturing the animal
And it’s a good job he
Was injured all I bloody well
Hope is he stops this infamy

Wild animals in circus
Should be banned and those still
Operating should be closed down
For the blood they spill
In fear and in anxiety
Within the wild cats soul
The brashness and presumption
It’s trainers in control

I hope the wounds were painful
And became septic, they
Scar him deep and painfully
Until his dying day
It’s not that I feel anger towards him
If he ceases
Torturing the animals
Who have much shorter leases (On lives)
