Bear back riding

Captivity
Is cruelty
And with cruelty one feels
Its a paramount
In Russia
Where it activity reveals
So called entertainment
In a circus there
Where bears are riding on buffalo’s backs
Which will lead to despair
Trooping slowly around the ring
This goes against the natural scheme of things
And thus does bring
Maltreatment into being
Suffering as well
Breaking with their instinctive knowledge
They would have to go through Hell
And back into the circus
To run against creation
Wild animals instinctively
Know their true salvation

So what we do we need to do to achieve
A show like this
Is cruelty
Deplorable behaviour taking the piss
Lamentable it seems to me
It goes against all principles
And to do this means we need
To make them realise that if they don’t
Where that does lead
Is they don’t get sufficient water
Or sufficient food
And they get a continued bashing
Training them is crude

For Buffalo are dangerous
More dangerous than most and
To get them acting docile
We have to understand
They have to be all broken in
Their spirit needs a tweak
The cane, the whip
If we let rip
Starvation bouts can peek
The interest into following
Any regime at all
Torture really plays a part
In circus as a rule

In this day and age
The audience must be mindful
And awake
Don’t support these circuses
That go about and break
An animals wild spirit
It’s painful to believe
And by going and paying
You supporting this make believe
