These evil traps

Traps and snares are everywhere
The evil set them they
are after killing wild life
Foxes mainly pay
A price that few may witness
The torturing method used
A dying vixen possibly
Terribly abused

In this case
It was a miniature dachshund
Off the lead
Walking with its pet owner
Who alas did succeed
In walking into the fox trap
And dying In such pain
The police confirm they are
Legal bringing it home
To us all again

Wild farmland and wild spaces
Will often sadly be
Places where these traps and snares
Are left regrettably
They cause the most immense suffering
To any little soul
And in this case to a dachshund
Its precious life they stole

That they are unaccountable
Is all the more reason why
They actually dont give a damn
Which creature may die
They really are the haters
Obnoxious creeps thats all
Because the police cant touch them
They just break every rule

Their spiritless its spivvery
Duplicity and guile
They get away with murder
Conjuring their bile
And as there is no retribution
Not that they can see
Perhaps some karmic cancer
Might befall them
Hopefully
