Genius

Adaptability and versatility
For me its always been words
I hopped the wag from school
To sit up in the park and write
I never stole the birds eggs
Or wanted to fight

I never saw the need
to kick a foot ball
Mathematics and all that stuff for me
Bored Me into tears
Its been like that for years
My happiness has come through poetry

The sadness is
Life isnt about poetry
Not in this brave world perhaps
But there
Are other civilizations like the indigenous
Who care
And thus I love their footprint
And with them I try to share

An interlude
A lonely fellow, really that is I
I have my pencils
I have my thoughts
I can see trees through
The sky

Genius there are many
VIP’s yea more
But writing down my thoughts in rhyme
Is what I am living for.
