Aboriginies

We dance in the rocks of our civilization
Our consciousness streams are everywhere
Our ancestors matter in our hearts they chatter
Dreamtime creation its how we all share

Since time began we have sat under the sun
With our didgereedoo’s and our music from where
We heard from ancestors the curious clamour
The termites that scatter and being aware

We think and we ponder and look over yonder
Our enquiring minds over curious we
Engrossed in the spirit the outcome of everyone
Lost in the caverns and broken we be

What do we hear in the night sky above us
What one believes is the knowledge one knows
Can we acknowledge the power and the glory
Where is the great tree that gives out its prose
