ZOo’s who kill their animals
For me will never be
Anything to do with kindness
And most I hope agree
The innocence the purity of heart
Their state of grace
Rewarded by the zoo
Where they were born
What a disgrace
Incorruptibility
Tiny new born souls
Unspotted and unblemished
Killed off by sad trolls
Who feel the need to so defile
Babies with one sweep
Such wickedness such iniquity
My prayer is they will reap
The heartlessness they proffered
Their letter of their law
Their pound of flesh
Their stony hearted brutal
Ounce of gore
Remorseless and inflexible
A curse beyond their lives
Nine innocent baby lion cubs
And not one of them survives
