Most do not care
Infer deduce induct or explain
Most watch the telly again and refrain
Its all argy bargy
Its all cut and thrust
Do they syllogize rationalize
Philosophize bust
A gut, really think
Admit or concede
When most of them out there
They hardly read

I suppose it is true
Their attention span
And true depth of feeling
Might stretch down the pan
Despite all the study
And the student loans
Deductive reasoning
Is not in their bones
