She

her inherent potentiality
Endowed with magic she
Transcending all of nature
Such a temperament we see
With every changing circumstance
Each opportunity
She takes and makes her way in life
With total constancy

She’s remarkable and amazing
Though her life is very short
She is delicate and special
Given a lot of thought
She has a lot of enemies
But despite them carries on
With her task of finding pollen
When much of it is gone

She’s tasked with finding lots of it
From blossoms everywhere
Steadfastly she flies about
And, she is aware
Of The pesticides and herbicides
That makes her feel forlorn
Whether to go back with her bounty
And infect the hive, she’s sworn
Of course to bring the pollen
So the magic spells can be
Worked on in the haven of the wise
Essentially

Man is most unkind to her
He doesn’t help at all
He comes to steal her bounty
And to overhaul
Her magic and her prowess
And all he leaves behind
Are bowls of refined sugar
For all of them to find

Aerodynamically she is not perfect
For flying really she
Has a heavy body
And tiny wings
Her qi
Is she has so much energy
She is on a high
Her wings spin till they hum out loud
As she passes by

And little baskets on her feet
To collect the pollen there
As she flies in to the hive sometimes
Brushes left, I swear
Can brush their tiny legs off
With the pollen so to say
It does cost her an arm and a leg
Which is a lot to pay

Man is after the pollen he sells that as well
So all that work she puts in
Man unkind from hell
Is there to steal yet more of what she has
And does and she
Is clearly now exhausted
she’s a very frustrated Bee

Man then collects her honey
And leaves her little more
Than a taster what a waster
So He steals more from the store
Honey is a bee food
Its never ours to take
But now we farm them commercially
We sweeten the cake
We heat up in the oven
Which degrades the honey and
All the magic that they use
How can they understand

Honey is not for heating
Heat degrades it fast
Honey will last for 100 years
Or more are you aghast?
It is an organic substance
As pure as pure can be
Its properties are amazing
When consumed by the bee

Of course the bees immunity
Is to be shot away
By rewarding them with sugar
Why do we make them pay
A price for all that effort
It weakens them so much
And what with all our chemicals
And EMF we touch
Their very souls and knowingly
Destroy them from within
When you buy a jar of honey
In the market its a sin

We are signing their death warrant
Every single day
Even the bee keepers steal
too much and run away
Bees won’t forage in the rain
So when we deplete their store
We really and truly rub it in
And they feel that more and more

Sadly we have lost it
Lost our power to be
Compassionate about our friends
Who slave now constantly
Imagine how this frustrates
I think of her when I
See rows and rows of honey
On the shelves
And I know why

The bees are really starved of it
Their miracle becomes
A sweetener for most of us
The ones doing their sums
Making lots of profit
Selling the degraded kind
Which is also fooling the public
Have we really lost our mind

We torture and kill our best friend
Just so we can make more dough
When they die out we shall die out
That I am afraid is so
And we can blame the corporates
Who have entered into the ring
Commercially making a killing
Perhaps the final sting

Yes perhaps the final sting!
