My tree 2

The sunlight on copper
Drives emotions too high
The scintillating freedom
A glint from way up high
The stillness of each moment
The shading of the now
The music of each movement
Stand in awe and how

This is my daily ritual
Expressing a desire
The leaves absorb the sunlight
And break into a fire
The moon behind fast fading
An early morning sky
As blue and clear as any
Which honestly is why

i always get up early
The best time if the day
When the air is a tad cleaner
And its when I wend my way
Through somewhere into dreamland
And my poems seem to flow
From the heavens to the secret world
Where all the green shoots grow
