Mishaps in captivity

Killer whales kill
Thats what they do
So to capture their spirit
A definite view
Limits considerably
Their free born will
And enslaving them
Actually is the big pill
In the last 50 years
A number of cases
Where orca’s attacked
Trainers put through their paces
All manner of names
Hushed out of the news
From ORKY to Tilikum
Spreading the blues

In the aquariums and Sea places
3 souls have perished
Imagine their faces
They happened were hushed up
But they happened to be
Wrapped up in the books
So that most couldn’t see
What actually happened
And thats how it goes
Killer whales take revenge
As the story shows

  2. Rex says:

Since 1967 there have been around 56 separate incidents
Involving injuries and deaths 3 of course that we know of
Involving trainers and others who were pulled to the bottom
Had their wet suits bitten through or were just so frightened to have been In the water with them.

They are the only animal that can accomodate revenge and tragically
like elephants that never forget when we are unkind to them
Tilikum hit back in Iceland when he was 3 when he dragged a trainer to the bottom in the aquarium there I shall be writing many more poems about all of them x

You are kind though to say nice things about my work x
