“Baby”

Its just like a plague
A malady where
Certain youths of today
Breed on despair
The thorns in our flesh
Pure virulence we
Could pass in the street
Baneful and free

Baby a bulldog
Who lived in Redcar
For some unknown reason
Took shock and took scar
Her co owners stupor
And dark lethargy
Got hold of her one day
Their cowardice ran free

Baby was friendly
And loving for she
Was really responsive
She just loved to be
Loved don’t we all?
Her emotions were high
She was never hot headed
All the more reason why

When they got her
And picked her up
Over their head
And threw her to the bottom of the stairs
It was said
Head butted her stamped on her
Repeatedly
And recorded it all
As she, earnestly

Took all the beating
And suffered so
Both were unconscious
And unconcerned we know
Spiritless yobs
Callous and wrong
On this earth
With such angels
They didn’t belong

Baby was suffering
baby called out
So bruised and battered
We are in no doubt
They kept up the pressure
Their victim she was
She was a bitch
And that was because

They could do this
And she well she never bit back
She took all they dolled out
All of their flack
All of the bruises
All of the pain
She endured it
Her weariness was her gain

For days she was suffering
Mentally low
Down in the dumps
Suffering so
The joy of living
Drained fast away
Despite her grievance
She still had to pay

And her vile attackers
Went on with each day
Nobody else knew
She seemed okay
Her heart it was broken
Filled with remorse
Disillusioned to hell
And lamenting of course

Her unhappiness surfaced
Her spirits were low
She was defeated
And those feelings did grow
She was fearful and jaundiced
Could she get away
She languished alone
At the end of each day

She wailed in her heart
She sobbed and she sighed
Doleful and mournful
How they may have lied
To themselves how they looked at her
Everyday
Amused by her plight
The ugly array

They were clumsy and hideous
Each was a blot
Villainous creeps
She wished they would rot
They were coarse they were vulgar
And they were rough
And within a few months
Baby had had enough

And her back legs gave out
All affection was lost
Despair had set in
Oh how it had cost
So much in her heart
So much in her soul
Ill- omened and desperate
She lost all control

She was taken away
To a vet and was killed
A quick injection
No blood was spilled
The rotters were tragically
All she could see
As she drifted away
To uncertainty

Then two years passed
And one of the boys
Dropped the evidence outside
It was found and their joys
Brought to ahead
When the RSPCA
Knocked on their door
And to them did say

The shit hit the fan
It came back with a jolt
Baby how she
Became their insult
The video was watched
And grown men they cried
It was all on film
And no one had denied

Her fear you could feel it
Such trepidation
A war of nerves
Upon such creation
Her valour her gameness
Her brave faced despair
As they took control of her
They were so unaware

Passionless rooted to vileness
And they
Showed their dislike
In the most abject way
She was just a dog
A plaything to whack
A bloody nobody
Right for the sack

They broke that baby
With utter disdain
But she did not submit to them
She took their pain
Their hubris and arrogance
She took it all
All the hostility
Which does appal

Anyone watching
Their Psychopathic jaunt
A cruel vendetta
How they did taunt
An angel in fact
And they couldn’t hear
Her cries and her sobs
And outpouring of fear

They were to locked up
In dealing their shit
Drunk on her agony
They hardly fit
To be associated with angels
For they
were just utter low life
Making her pay

And now they are charged
And What did they get
They are not being banged up
For some reason let
Out to be free as a bird
More or less
When baby had died
Of significant stress

The court clearly lacking
The strength for to do
Bang them up for years
Just let them stew
In a soup of their juices
Their spiteful regard
But they are out to
Walk about
Though a little hard

Anubis is out there
Raring to go
Also a punisher
Out in the flow
Living this down
These two men now will find
It coming back often
Within their mind

They may lack all conscience
But Baby went through
A wrong all along
And Anubis will chew
One day on their bollocks
One day they will be
Alone on the street
And thats when they will be

Reminded of baby
Just how she felt
As she drifted to the Rainbow Bridge
As the angels knelt
Sharing her suffering
Feel each whack
Of that fateful night
And that dreadful attack

Of all the attacks on animals this one will remain in hearts and minds forever

Of all the babies who die at the hands of monsters this “baby”
Suffered so much and they are given no prison just let them wake up
In their own beds each morning

    The court system clearly useless

A poem was needed to call Anubis into the ring
Blessed be and merry meet x
