Sky clad we dance in the forests of time
Spreading our branches as onward we climb
Upwards and outwards real sculptures we be
Our stillness is clearly so creatively
Drawing the energy out of the earth
And all of the goodness and all of its worth
Great social beings harbingers we
Oxygen given for eternity
A melodious network of fungi below
Sharing their messages helping the flow
Sucking up nutrients making some more
And sharing the wealth that so many ignore
The great city forests harmonious places
The great mothers clamour seen on our faces
The wind in the willows the hearts of the oak
The echoes of the ancients that silently cloak
The carpets of leaf mold that transmit their power
Into our saplings that burst on the hour
Dendrology discovering darkness and light
Delving through destiny the great insight
Those ancient felled trunks kept sweeter
And still
Alive to remind us that they always will
Receive our respect for their true incarnation
They made us the spring board which is our salvation
We sprung from their glory from their sweet domain
And by sharing their love we can only gain
What is wrong with the human tribe
The youth of the day
They Imagine they know
And thus never say
The elder has purpose the elder can see
Beyond the great digital world
That now be
Enclosing their hearts
and destroying their life
Huge violent storms
that engage and the strife
Is killing the natural world
circling high
Its the new world order
And their WIFI
It is sucking out spirit
destroying our soul
The young disrespect
their elders control
They imagine their intellect
far beyond ours
Though Their footprint is huge
though their lifespan just hours
Their true DNA
is bombarded and they
Will not live as long
as the ancients whose way
Was to value the forest
and breathe in each tree
And hug us and see us
but the children now be
Hunched over their Ipads
and lap tops their eyes
Blinded by power
that will host their demise
Its a raucous discord
that brazenly blares
Into each sinew
the strident despairs
We the great trees
even we are aghast
For we feel the evil too
and ever fast
The sick tetra trees
now posted beside
They produce a cacophony
thats been denied
They sicken by giving
the harshest of sound
And drowning out
all of the nature around
In dungeons in chains
The electrical fix
The hunters outside
Knocked all wild ones for six
Why is it so many of you now
Prefer
To sit in the darkness
Its as if you were
Blinded by light
By the sweep of the blue
By the sky and the countryside
So part of you
So failed to see all the wild animals
Die
And tree after tree
Torn down to lie
And you make your computer desks
With our wood
Imagining somehow
That was as good
Where did the trees go
They one by one
Were polluted and felled
Now there are none
The air that you breathe
Is terribly poor
The lungs of the planet
You all did ignore
And now you are choking
And only the young
Are left in the dungeons
Really among
The machines and the
Sick
The light taken away
Your backs are so bent
Staring at the display
Your water is tainted
Your oxygen too
WIFI killed everything
Yes that is true
The bees and the birds
And every wild soul
Your elders are rotting
In every dark hole
You thought it was your choice
But alas it was not
All the goodness you had
Now No one has got
The great HAARP God sends out
Its stridor and pain
And The trees logged and left
will not grow again
love this xx
