Incarceration with neglect
Creates a maddening state
A mindlessness an irrationality
And insouciant of late
Slovenly and dirty
Unhinged and frenzied they
Minks and foxes trapped in cages
For certain every day
An apathy and hopelessness
No meaning to ones being
Incoherent total stress
Raving almost gibbering
Every hour is a challenge
Living in their own mess
Caged and unfit for such animals
Forced into limping mode
Languid and ineffective
It really does not bode
Well for these fur bearing earthlings
Who suffer extraordinarily
Of wounds and skin eruptions
They just need to be free
Of these small wire cages
And they are dirty and smelly
And wrong
These are wild animals
They soon lose condition
In cages they do not belong
Neurological sickness and infection
Mange urticaria too
Confinement and lack of wild food
In their diets
Causes collapse so to do
Traumas and lesions
Abrasions and scratches
They soon suffer the worse for wear
The remedy really is TLC
And in cages for fur
Thats not going to be
And many sweet souls perish in the cage
The bane of their lives
Stuck there for an age
Wounding their feet
Trapping their claws
And without treatment
They get infected jaws
Life for these souls
Is bitter and tragic
They suffer so much
The wildness the magic
Gone from their lives
Cruelty reigns
And all of this torture
There are no gains
Except for the fur hags
Who wear their mink coats
Its a wonder they don’t scream
The minks and the stoats
And foxes and beavers
All suffering so
So that These bloody starlets
And pop singers show
Just how ignorant they have become
And insensitive stupid and bloody dumb
