To my dear sister susan

Broken paws and SUSAN lane
Now undergoing immeasurable strain
Her heart and body broken by
The apathy
That seems to fly
In the face of all she knows
The canine tribe
Dear Susan shows
Us all the way
She loves them so
She save’s so many
As we know
But in the darkness all around
Our dear Susan can be found
We need to honour her
And to care
Support her in her mission there
South Africa her place to be
Her place of work
To care to see
We love you Susan sister soul
Blessed be
Within your role
Of angel to
the earthlings we Susan we
Love you

Sending light and love and care
If only we could all be there
In a sanctuary in the sun
Together till the day is done

Bless you Rex, but I’m not a saint. The doctor suspected lung cancer years ago … I refused tests as I would have refused treatment. They say 6 months from time of diagnosis. That being the operative word. About 7 years down the line I am still here, but taking strain now. Blessed Be.
