Our beloved dolphins

Black Fish and the Cove
Took it’s pots shots at those
Corporate crap heaps
Whose cruelty grows
The vilest philosophy
Under the sun
Rising, a red ball of
Life on the run

Behold the great pods
Of silver and grey
Skirting the surf on the waves
Far away

These intelligent angels
With pure human traits
Who scuttle and surface
At fantastic rates

Sea World is after the albino ones
The prettiest orca’s
How many tonnes
They are not bothered
It’s all bums on seats
A massive great splash
For a bucket of treats

The animal rights groups
Are hard to track down
Names they are everywhere
All over town

Signing petitions
Attending shows
Outside the embassies
The number grows

Poets musicians travellers, they
Visit Taiji and it blows them away
Too many of us taking us on
Building rapport
Out there upon

Facebook and twitter
Sea Shepherd too
On every continent
See what they do

Friends telling friends
The armies on fire
All sorts of groups
They never tire

BlAck fish and the Cove
Kind of rallied the troops
The world is choked up
With so many groups

Associations
Warriors free
Supporting each other
And protecting the sea

The oceans cover
best part of this world
At enormous depths
many creatures are hurled

They deserve freedom
Not pirates who kill
Not hunters for science
Whose blood they spill

Not sea World mercenaries
looking for game
But thoughtful and caring souls
Yes much the same

as us
All of us
In this world we all share
Us all of us if we all are aware
