forsaken

To be forsaken
Put out
Left alone
Thrown on the street
Having to fend for yourself can be
Hard no one to greet
She died our human friend
Has gone
She fed us, loved us, we
Realised her value
Each gesture we could see

Her touch was one of wonder
Emotionality
Heartiness and fervour
She was responsively
Deeply felt and thrilling
We canines loved her so
We had a sweet connection
We were chums who undergo

A wondrous transformation
Impressionable was she
And now lies in a casket
Where she died so tenderly
We came around to see her off
Watched her sleep a while
All us strays responsive
She had so much style

The Music of the moment profoundly that is clear
To love her from the bottom of our hearts
We held her dear
How could she ever leave us
We will not leave her side
Ever never ever
In her aura we will hide

You humans think it strange of us
But strangely enough we feel
So close to her to be with her
She was the real deal
